Irresistible Nutella Sweet Cakes: Your Easy Recipe

The soft and tasty Nutella sweets are ideal for breakfast or for children's snacks. Easy to make and sure to please the whole family.

Ingredients for about 12 Nutella sweets

  • grams 500 flour, possibly half Manitoba
  • 12.5 grams of fresh brewer's yeast
  • 1 whole egg
  • grams 100 sugar
  • grams 70 of peanut oil
  • 200 ml milk
  • 1 sachet of vanillin
  • nutella to taste.

Preparing the nutella cakes

In a large bowl dissolve the brewer's yeast in the lukewarm milk, then slowly incorporate the sugar, whole egg, vanillin packet and seed oil. Now add the flour, which should be slowly mixed in and as soon as a fairly firm dough is obtained, knead it with your hands until the dough has a smooth and homogeneous consistency.

Now let the dough rise for about 2½ hours in a bowl covered with cling film and a tea towel. It should approximately double its initial volume. After this time has passed, take the dough and knead it some more with your hands, adding a little flour if necessary. Roll out the dough with a rolling pin and form a sheet about one centimetre thick.

Now cut the sheet with a glass about 8 centimetres in diameter to form many round cakes. Place the cakes on the baking tray not very close to each other and cover with cling film. let them rise another 30 minutes.

The easiest way to make the hole in the middle where you will put the nutella is to put a piece of dough, such as conchiglioni or tortiglioni, in the middle of the cakes, which you will remove once they are cooked, leaving a space to fill with nutella.

Once they have risen again, bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 20 minutes.

Remove the pastry to create a hollow and dust the surface of the cakes with icing sugar. Now insert Nutella into the central hole and our sweets are ready to be enjoyed. If desired, they can also be topped with whipped cream or jam.
